My Leadership class in Leesburg, VA was so kind to me when they found out we were getting married! During each week of the class, we had a "final exam" of karaoke to practice risk taking. During the first week's session, we celebrated our fabulous instructor's birthday, and during this week, the class celebrated our engagment. I was so touched when they surprised me with a hand-made "veil" made out of easel-board paper that even included a cut-out lace edge. They added my favorite toys from the toy collection - a tiara, feather boa, and sunglasses. I was feeling quite spiffy in my little outfit, and the whole class surprised me again by placing me in the middle of the dance floor and singing "We're Goin' to the Chapel". Hillarity of course ensued, and I was even further touched when the class signed the veil and added very kind messages to it. The whole experience was very meaningful to me, and we all had a great time. Cameras were banned after the last karaoke night, so I can't show it all to you. Thanks again everybody!
