Tuesday, April 23 - Emily Kisses and Goodbye - Departed for Hyatt Resort in Maui via Los Angeles
"Aloha" Dinner on the grounds - our bodies thought it was about 2am when we finally called it a day.
Wednesday, April 23 - Horseback riding at Ironwood Ranch. Kenny's horse was Janet Jackson and Lisa's was Loni Anderson. Kenny has Janet Jackson jokes if you ask him. :) We had a great time, but the camera was acting up, so we can't show you the panoramic views from the top of the pineapple plantation.
Afternoon in the pool and waterslide.
Luau In Old Lahaina, which was really good and very authentic.
Thursday, April 24 - Sea Kayak/Snorkeling
Lisa didn't have much to say about this except, " I think I'm feeling a little queasy." It was all downhill from there.
We did manage to eat lunch in Lahaina at Kimo's, but Lisa thought the restaurant was moving the whole time.
Gala Awards Dinner - we made it for the last part and cheered a lot when Kenny's and everyone we knew's names were called.
Friday, April 25 - Changed the Hike to the Arboretum to a rental car instead. Nortel treated us right with a red Mustang convertible.
Afternoon at the Maui Ocean Center, the Fish Market in Pa'ia, and at the professional windsurfing beach, Ho okipa.
"Memories of Maui" Dine-Around at the Hula Grill. We had a great dinner of prime steak and huge lobster tails, and great conversation with Patrick and Teresa Cox.
Saturday, April 26 - Time by the pool and in the waterslide
Walk to Whaler's Village for lunch at Leiloni's by the ocean.
Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Couples Massage Session at the Spa.
"A Whale of a Time" dinner on the hotel grounds - an 1840's whaling town was recreated and the band was great. Everyone had a great time dancing.
Sunday, April 27 - Visited Lahaina to shop and visited the local artists under the huge Banyan Tree downtown.
Departed Maui at night
Monday, April 28 - Arrived Atlanta and reunited with Emily!
