Here's my version of Eddie Van Halen's Cathedral. And for all you guitarists out there, yes, I realize that Eddie is much better than I am.
| Here's a really simple song originally recorded by Saigon Kick. I haven't heard the song in years, so my version might not be completely accurate.
|
This is my attempt to play "Grand Finale", a Neo-Classical tapping piece taken from Dave Celantano's "Secrets of Shred Guitar." I highly recommend this book for anybody that wants to improve their shred guitar techniques.
| Here is the backing track for A Million Years. It's not too exciting, but I'm pretty proud of my guitar solo that starts about 2:40 into the song.

This piece was originally written for a single acoustic guitar, but I thought it sounded really nice with the melody played on a piano, and strings in the background. It makes me think of walking Emily in the morning.
| I wrote this song right after I got Emily. She was so sad, and I wanted to write something to soothe her. I don't know if it ever had any effect on her, but it will always be her song.

I wrote this piece several years ago. Of all the short instrumentals I've written, this one is my favorite.
| This song was inspired by Lily, my childhood neighbor's dalmation, but through time I've attached it to other people and pets.
|
Maryanne is the first instrumental I ever wrote. The story behind it is boring, so I'll spare you the details!
| I wrote this one during my Junior year at Bama. I guess this one gets the least attention of all my instrumentals, but I still like it very much.
